Vitamin D is an essential fat-soluble vitamin that enables better absorption of calcium to promote healthier and stronger bone density. The most abundant source of vitamin D is from our own skin exposure to the sun. Other sources include foods like fatty, oily fish and select fortified foods. Vitamin D can also be supplemented safely when used as directed. We formulated our lip products to seamlessly incorporate organic, plant-derived vitamin D3 that can be applied topically and ingested safely.
Working with an expert lab in Canada to create our formulation, we have enriched our lip care products with organic, vegan vitamin D3. As a cosmetic product, your lips will feel nourished and supple without that heavy, waxy feeling of conventional lip products. The amount of vitamin D adheres to cosmetic guidelines set forth by both Health Canada and FDA, not exceeding the average daily absorption of 25 ug or 1000 iu per day when used as directed. This booster amount of vitamin D for each application can complement natural sources of vitamin D (sun exposure) or your supplement regimen if you have one. The amount of vitamin D in our lip products is safe for most everyone.
While vitamin D overdose is very rare, it can occur if taken excessively over an extended period of time. Check with your physician if you are pregnant or nursing. We are confident that you will get a safe and essential amount of vitamin D by using our products as directed.

We use organic algae-derived vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol). This is a vegan form of vitamin D3.

There has been significant discussion in the beauty and wellness world over what constitutes “clean” beauty, particularly as this is one label that is not held to any specific industry standards or certification. We use the term “clean” to describe our products that minimize harm to both people and the environment through the use of high-quality plant-derived ingredients and organic lab-made vitamin D3. We do not use parabens, sulfates, phthalates, petroleum by-products, silicones, and fillers. We endeavour to use healthful ingredients so that you can feel good with what you’re putting on your body and ingested through your lips.

Our products are formulated to last between 12 to 18 months in ideal storage conditions once opened. To maintain the integrity of your lip product, keep the item out of direct sunlight and store it in a cool and dry place away from moisture.
Our lip products come in recyclable cardboard exterior packaging that can be recycled with your paper recycling.
For our cosmetic tubes, we have 2 options.
Option 1: matte finish cream tube - is a biodegradable compostable tube. It consists primarily of a bamboo composite material. Simply unscrew the aluminum tube from the biodegradable exterior and dispose of the biodegradable portion in your compost. The aluminum tube can be properly disposed of in your recycling bin.
Option 2: onyx black magnetic tube - is made of ABS plastic. This type of plastic can easily be repurposed as reusable plastic if collected properly.
ARALEA BEAUTY is currently working to create a recycling program for our customers with TerraCycle. For now, you can find your local TerraCycle programs from their website: www.terracyle.com in the U.S. and www.terracycle.ca in Canada.

ARALEA BEAUTY agrees to ship your order within 5 business days (excluding holidays) after payment is processed by your credit card merchant or bank. We use Canada Post for shipments within Canada and to the USA.
We currently offer $5.00 flat-rate shipping within Canada for order under $50, and free shipping thereafter. To the United States, we offer $6.50 flat-rate shipping for orders under $60 and free shipping thereafter.
Please allow up to 14 business days for delivery within North America and up to 30 days for international deliveries. Note that most orders are shipped 24-48 hours within receipt of order and are shipped Monday through Friday. We cannot predict or control the customs charges for international shipments and are not responsible for additional duties or customs charged by the destination country. We are not responsible if you provide an incorrect shipping address. We can only process a refund or replacement if the unused product is returned back to us. You will be responsible for shipping fees for a replacement shipment.
Yes! All shipping rates outside of North America will be charged based on the selected shipping rate available for your country. Please keep in mind you may be responsible for customs fees in addition to the international shipping rate.
We offer free shipping on orders over $50 for Canada and over $60 for the United States.
